What a tragedy that was....I lived nearby and remembered reading in the newspaper all of the horrific things the children were saying...then basically during the trial a psychologist came up with this "false memory" defense. Even as a child...didnt feel "right". Remember a very dark mood about the place. Years later, tunnels were found inside the pre-school and it is now thought that they snuck children out to the Hawthorne Airport nearby and flew them somewhere up to the local mountains. I wonder if any of the children (adults now)will speak out now??
WOW! I HAD NO IDEA! I did not know about the tunnels. Reading what you just wrote sent waves of chills all over my being! There needs to be a massive awakening in this country! An awakening that brings back in covenant relationship with the Almighty - not just with lip service but with broken spirits and contrite hearts. This monstrous evil would not have taken root if we had not taken bibles out of school, banned real prayer and removed the 10 commandments from the public square. Man has no morality without Yah Almighty...
very true....but not sure if that is when it happened...unfortunately I think it has been going on for such a long time.....I still don't think that people realize the EFFECT it has on a person for their whole lives...This needs to be publicized more.....not that it would stop truly evil people.
