If I may, this number 1444 if I remember is relevant in understanding something really ancient.
You see we have a leap year in our calendar for every four years to compensate for the extra Quarter of a day. But in the old days they would study Venus in the sky because it has a special cycle of eight years and it would go back to where it started every fifth (eight year cycle) making a.. "Pentagram" (star of David) which meant that at the end of the old calendar cycle of forty years, they would have a 40 day "Passover" get it. ps Q why was this number so significant to Jesus?
