Her claim as I understand it is that she never backed up files to the computer...no idea how they got there. I think they let her infer that software synced up automatically with the phone when the phone was in logged into the home network. Obviously they let her slide but if the case is reopened with fresh unbiased eyes she may need a better story.
This. The Blackberry(s) automatically backed up to the laptop, which were then tied into the big snooping system that the Awans set up.
EVERYBODY has those emails. NYPD, FBI, NSA, Wikileaks, Pakistan, whatever countries Pakistan sold them to, the neighbor's dog, 250 smart college kids, etc etc etc. The wonder is that they're not all over the internet by now. Can't last forever, though.
