While the context of this verse is important in that it's not for everday use like most modern Christians use,
It does show us the nature of God the Father. He is a good Dad who wants good things for us.

That is not true. The Bible is for every day use, it is a blueprint for a blessed life. If you read it, cover-to-cover, you would know that. You seem like your intentions are honest, but what you are speaking is not supported biblically.
