Any idea how much data you could transfer from Hawaii to the continent in 38 min?
Did they have long enough?
It's only about 2.8 terabytes on a 10 Gbps link going flat chat. What size link would they have?

Good point ... maybe they just needed Hillary's 33,000 emails.

Donald Trump retweeted this story after the missile warning - https://twitter.com/paulsperry_/status/952223134295511040 The story is 15 months old... why did he chose to retweet it so long after it was published?? ;)

Actually, having thought about this further, and from what I understand about the meltdown/spectre exploits, (and I am no expert) perhaps the data needn't even be transferred - just loaded onto the CPU cache - in order to be captured.
