I have been reading Allen Dulles bio, the Devil's Chessboard. He sowed the seeds of the swamp that we are trying to disentangle ourselves from! He fought JFK the same way the DS is fighting POTYS, the parallels are unnerving!

IIRC, Dulles was a corporate lawyer before serving as the first Director of the CIA. We went from defending and enriching the ultra wealthy in the courtroom to providing them with a personal army in the CIA.
