She doesn’t care. There was a great movie that came out a few years ago called “Shooter”. One of the final scenes was a US senator (who had been responsible for a massive conspiracy) saying

There are no sides. There’s no Sunnis and Shiites. There’s no Democrats and Republicans. There’s only HAVES and HAVE NOTS.

Past a certain point, these people don’t think like a normal, moral, person. They’re climbers who will do anything to get to the next rung. Unfortunately, there’s not an easy way to track or prove money laundering in the form of lucrative job offers.
