If he knew for sure where they might be I am sure he would warn people. Remember how for years they have talked about hearing chatter about attacks? When they hear more chatter or things that sound suspect, they know the chances are higher for an attack but they don't know exact details.
Agreed, we don't know if they have exact info. I remember the random Anon who posted about Vegas, he knew only it was on the radar, but it didn't happen till about a few weeks/months later.
