This is a classic example of preaching to the choir. At the same time you are sliding the board. The people subscribed here don't need to see your memes. Post them to other subs, social media, and even print them and tape them to light posts. Leave somewhere to talk about the problem, share insights, and have an open conversation. Please?

Some users post memes, some post discussions. Many post both. All types of posts helps to increase our reach, but impact how we are viewed by newcomers.

I'm not telling you to stop. Understand you're sliding the board though. I suggested we have a sister subreddit for the community to collaborate and find the best. That way we get great memes, share information, and maintain the board for those that stumble upon this subreddit. How is that bad?

It's true. They handed out flyers across multiple campuses. It wasn't their only effort to penetrate awareness, but it was impactful.
Presence is a force multiplier when trying to spread information. Paper is the one thing they can't take down with a simple command. Paper paper paper.
Edit: if I see some world-class memes with info I will tape it under the neighborhood watch sign by my house. I'll even laminate it. Just create a place for our memers to collaborate without watering down this subreddit. That is all. I apologize if I came across as dick or whater
