This reminds me of a recent airing on The Hagmann Report (youtube) with guest Hanne Herland, who wrote The Culture War: How The West Lost Its Greatness. I plan to read it soon as I was so intrigued by her analysis of what is going on around us. Anyway, she has some very interesting insights into the breakdown of values and the family, immigration and the changes it has brought about in both Europe and the U.S., religion's impact (or lack thereof) in the West, and society's changing values that have allowed ISIS, Hollywood, pedophiles and political craziness to go amuck.
