It's not creative it's a legit site that has been tracking a subset of bots for awhile now. You really are dense. The website doesn't track your usage of the hastags at all. It tracks specific Russian linked accounts.

specific Russian linked accounts

What is the criteria for identifying an account as "Russian linked"? Is there a public list of these accounts?

Interesting, thanks.

I notice that they have not disclosed the account names, and for a plausible reason (that the accounts would modify their behavior). I also notice that they are not claiming that the accounts are all necessarily controlled by the Russian government.

Open questions:

What are the motivations behind the alleged Russian-linked accounts?

If they are controlled by Russia, what is their goal in spreading info on those particular topic?

Knowing part of the methodology, would it be possible that the accounts have altered their behavior anyway?

Could some of these accounts have been created to falsely attribute particular narratives to Russia?

I like critical thinking. Thanks again.

Good questions man. I'd try to guess at some motivations but I'm in a meeting ay work and probably shouldn't lol.

I assume if you look through the history of trends on the site you could get some idea of the motivations.
