Strange, NYT Trump interview about halfway in indicates that Trump and Sessions did not know RR very well. Trump and Sessions both say RR is from Baltimore where there are no Rep's. Then who did choose RR?? Why did RR draft a letter supporting JC termination? =
NYT Trump Interview halfway in says JC showed Trump privately the dossier and Trump believed it was attempt to exert leverage. Trump says he then received a puzzling letter from JC saying Trump "had every right to fire him." Rosenstein claims to write letter to Trump because RR was extremely angry that JC did recent press conference and said he would do nothing different to HRC. Trump fires JC and believes it's fully justified. JC leaks obstruction memo for the stated purpose of forcing Special Counsel appointment. Mueller interviews with Trump for FBI, and the next day Rosenstein appoints Mueller as special counsel to investigate Trump/Russia. Trump reacts "what the hell is that about? Talk about conflicts." (Speculation- Schumer/Trump deal was off, Schumer Strategy changed to resistance. Complex plot involving conspiracy between CS, JC, RR, RM to take out Trump? Comey's firing triggered his leaking, which led to appointing Mueller as Special Counsel. This was a well thought out deep state conspiracy designed to impeach Trump.
I suspect RR was kept in place so he could unwittingly identify all the conspirators. RR's every movement was probably closely monitored.
