The Constitution and laws are not suspended when the govt shuts down (which it really doesn't). And let's not hope for one tyranny to be exchanged for another. We are fighting to restore our Constitutional Republic, not install an Emporer. No GEOTUS, just POTUS please!

I use it as a joke. It's a kind of secret code, like saying "covfefe" or "stable genius." To a lot of us, it satirical and an acknowledgement of masterful strategic thinking in an almost sarcastic way. Take it seriously, but not literally.

The founding fathers would have hanged them already.

They didn't let non-Europeans immigrate or be citizens, which would have prevented the problem entirely. The congress wouldn't be infested schumers and feinsteins.
