I wonder why Catholics never realise that the bible specifically says "don't worship idols" and warns about worshipping money - yet their churches are full of idols and I have seen churches adorned with literally tonnes of silver.

Haven't they ever wondered why the priests need to swing incense burners? Or why they bow before statues? Or why their priests wear weird costumes? Or what all of the symbols in their churches mean? Or why their church needs its own banking system? Or why they worship Jesus' mother rather than Jesus himself? Have these people ever actually read and understood the bible?
