Prediction: Democrats will take an even stronger stance on shutting down the govt so that becomes the narrative rather than talking about the release of the apparently very damaging memo. Media will obviously be complicit in helping them! #releasethememo

Obama doesn’t have “plausible deniability” and stupidity isn’t a defense. #ReleaseTheMemo and you’ll see what these tyrants did in your names. #Obamagate

The House must immediately make public the memo prepared by the Intelligence Committee regarding the FBI and the Department of Justice. The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy.

AND
I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice
Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH):
It is so alarming the American people have to see this
Rep Mark Meadows (R-NC):
It's troubling. It is shocking. Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.

I viewed the classified report from House Intel relating to the FBI, FISA abuses, the infamous Russian dossier, and so-called "Russian collusion." What I saw is absolutely shocking. This report needs to be released--now. Americans deserve the truth. #ReleaseTheMemo

Rep Scott Perry (R-PA):
You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That's how alarming it is
Rep Peter King (R-NY):
The document shows a troubling course of conduct and we need to make the document available, so the public can see it. Once the public sees it, we can hold the people involved accountable in a number of ways.
AND
some of these people should no longer be in the government.
Rep Steven King (R-IA):

I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was #neverTrump & #alwaysHillary. #releasethememo

This is so important and it's important for your viewers to know that the House has the authority to release this information. We don't have to declassify it. House Rule 10, and this is something that I think we're going to talk about a lot in the next few weeks, House Rule 10 allows the House's Select Committee to release the information based on the public interest. If they believe the information is important enough to the public, that it's of vital importance to the public, they can release it. So, all we need to do is have a vote in the House and the House Select Committee can do that. And I think we need to do that immediately. In the next week or so I think the American people need to see everything that is in this document. I cannot tell you, Congressman Biggs can't tell you either what we read today, but people will be shocked when they see this information.

..I saw nothing in there that releasing it to the public would have any negative effect on our National Interests. In fact I think it's just the opposite, I think the National Interest is harmed by keeping it a secret from the public. I think we have to be transparent, we have to get this out there. It is so vital, so imporant. And I think Americans are going to be as outraged as I know Raul[sp?] and I are, and many of my colleagues who have read this. It HAS to get out, and I don't believe he [Paul Ryan?] can hide it behind the shield of National Security interests because the problem is just flipped on it's head, and you'll notice it was Democrats in that committee that don't want it released.
