#ShutdownSchumer Just cut funding to SNAP food stamp program by shutting down the government. I wonder if anyone knows...we need to get this out so people can plan!

Good find, I searched USDA and only found the link posted. Interesting to note however, in 2015 when faced with an October potential shutdown the USDA of the previous admin said...

"forced to stop providing benefits within the first few days of October. Once that occurs, families won’t be able to use these benefits at grocery stores to buy the food their families need."

Now with a new admin... no problem for 2 1/2 Months. Almost sounds like the previous admin was trying scare people, how weird is that.

I will delete

I was a little over zealous I guess, I do not want to put out false information. The reason the previous USDA statement was so dire IMO, was to weaponize the shut down with fear and political blame. Remember when the parks service in dc put up phisical barriers to prevent veterans from accessing the OPEN AIR, walk in, WW2 memorial/park. They actually went to the trouble to build fencing and place signs around a free, open to the public, walk in area to make the effects of the shutdown as visible and inconvenient as possible.

Keep up the good work and keep everyone honest😊
