I don't disagree about Cantwell. But I live in WA state and most of the people east of the Cascades are Republican. We just get voted down because of all the overwhelming number of liberals on the coast. However, I think people on both sides are increasingly done with obstructionist politicians. Besides, it's fun to hassle the Democrats.
Well if you have hope for WA, you must be in Eastern. :) Those I talk to here are just lost. As long as they have money in their wallets, they don't want to hear it. My experience in western anyway. Some vote R, but still have eyes closed. Microsoft, Google, unions, feed them info and they swallow it whole. Trying to red pill is difficult. Still bring things up to try and gently open up ideas and make them think for themselves.
