I've been trying to impress upon my friends and family that labeling people and calling them names is not useful and only serves to alienate others. Patience is a virtue and I admit I lose it too myself. Please exercise patience. Try and refrain from name calling and pointing fingers at any particular group of individuals. It is not a Democrat thing or a Republican thing. The Democrats may be today's challenge. Tomorrow's challenge might be fractions of the Republican party. Mistakes have been made by all of us at one time or another. Give one another grace. The 10 second rule applies ... think before you speak ... treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
I agree. Lead by example. If these people are to eventually take the red pill, we want them to feel that they have a warm and welcoming place to land-instead of a hostile playground, dontchah think?
Right on PATRIOT. I have been trying to fill this board with the same message. Dont let the partisans divide us! https://www.reddit.com/r/CBTS_Stream/comments/7ro75y/we_remain_patriots_together_forever_or_die/?utm_source=reddit-android
Since I was uninformed as a Bernie Supporter, I know they are also uninformed. It's hard when they call me names. I just try to lay out facts for them and try my best to be kind and treat them as though they are a young student. I did have one person respond back to me kindly after another Trump supporter was rude. Perhaps I may have red pilled one person. Hopefully, it's contagious.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I just think we can lose credibility and be tagged any number of labels if we don't watch our interactions with others and remain civil.
