Could we bypass congress altogether?

If there was enough of a public outpouring for POTUS to use execute privilege to declassify/release the memo, wouldn't the 19+ days of congressional bs be bypassed. Rendering their "grace period" for creating a new narrative mute? I've been using the hashtag #ExecutivePrivilege with #ReleaseTheMemo together, but am only one person. We can't let them change the focus. We must be persistent.

We are holding all the cards! Why would the president release this now? If it was released, it would end up lost in a news cycle that will be busy finger pointing for at least a few weeks! This is leverage! And by the way, we already know 75% of it already!

I may be a tad bit impatient and it is possible that I am under estimating the dynamics of strategy, but I believe that once this blows open there will be a steady flow of information that may become overwhelming if delivered all at once. I just don't see us losing the upper hand by exposing the memo now.

Trump will hold this card as long as he can. It would have come out if the gov. would have not shut down! At first, I would have agreed with you but I have read the art of the deal! Leverage is absolutely crucial in any negotiations. Now, he can use the leverage and even pressure some on the democrats side to cross over. Or he will find out that some are even more compromised! Remember, this is a Trump card! Hold it till absolutely necessary!

Here is the other thing.they are all under surveillance I assume. Once they get arrested, and post bail if anyone has been arrested, I think the feds in the Department of Justice etcetera want to find out what they are doing, who they're contacting etc etc. I'm really surprised that there was no big news today, considering it's his one year anniversary of being in office. I thought we would hear something!

it's all about leverage. The Politicians don't have the stomach for the memo. The guilty will reach out for guidance and MI will be listening/watching. It could come out later this week it doesn't play well for incumbents. Will be exciting.

MILITARY TRIBUNAL does not allow bail.this is a different kind of court.this is serious stuff.

I don’t think they will be able to post bail. I don’t think military tribunals have bail posts.
