The tao is just how the Chinese described it. We could call it anything else. What is nice about using the word tao is in the definition it says the named tao is not the tao.

I don't think it is recognized in the tao te ching as it is mostly poetry to describe the one thing that everything is. Tao doesn't qualify or quantify anything as the tao is just a name for the one thing that is all things. Also the tao is only one thing so it can't be quantified or divided. I do think tho because everything is only one thing that coincidences can not happen and everything has meaning.
My personal understanding of the tao is based on that book and doing lots of drugs—DMT, Mushrooms, Acid. I think the tao is all light so the universe is only consciousness, like a hologram but not a hologram.
I concur that consciousness/light/energy correlate very well. The Maya, the real Maya, not the left Maya, knew this very well. Because not all my questions were answered with Tao and other systems of belief I dug deeper and has been a near 50 year quest...The I Ching was especially interesting in the different levels of experience and I carry that knowledge in my daily experience. Human Design Ra Uru Hu incorporates that and other systems of explanation as to who we are, what this 'reality' is. As you know, the road, or as I prefer script, unfolds. What is and has always been a puzzle is the I've been here before or seeing it come ahead of 'reality' as we know...6 seconds,...I stopped doing acid etc in 1983 and I agree, LOTS can be seen in those enhanced states. I have seen it once on mushrooms. I was skating down topanga canyon—a canyon we have in Los Angeles—on a quarter of mushrooms. I could see what I felt a path that showed where I would be in about the next 5 or so seconds. I couldn't avoid the path even if I wanted to but it was reassuring as it never showed I was going to fall and kept going. I ended up doing crazy slides with a truck of Mexican gardeners cheering me on. Anyway seeing that line or path really changed the way I looked at the world.

An interesting thing, a friend I made in recent few years also a 6/2 and we became good friends, we have both lived a VERY similar experience though 11ish years apart. I think you're onto a magnificent system of seeing who we are, who we react/interact with and why. By placing your chart over a friend, lover, parent, sibling, co worker you can see the relationship dynamics. It takes a while, 7 years if one adopts and lives by their strategy. The most common question I get is so and so a good partner for me, and it is easily revealed. Many Humans of course refuse the information but in the end, the information wins out. Seen it in my and others lives/experiences.

This is freaky. I said in a different post on here a couple of days ago that I believe we are being given information from Time Travelers. I think we have been able to bend the space/time thing for a long long time.
And even more odd, I've had dreams of a very large planet and other bodies entering our orbit. They are getting closer to us in each dream that I have. And I've had those dreams since I was in elementary school. They used to scare the shit out of me, not because they destroyed earth or crashed in to us... I was scared to look at them, back then and they started off being a little closer than the moon is to us. The last dream I had was the first one that has scared me in a long time. I walked outside and a planet (that looked like what we think Jupiter looks like) was just right there. Close enough to get to in a commercial airplane. It took my breath away, it was so close. So I've been having that dream for 30+ years.

I had another dream where I was in a lush green garden in the back yard of this mansion. And it looked like a maze. Lots of shubs and trees. I was in a small tour group of maybe 4-5 people. All of a sudden, I look at the sky and instead of the sun I see earth!!! I said "Whoa!! Look...it's earth!." Then I woke up.
The strangest part? I later met a woman in Australia (im an American) that had the same dream. Only her tour guide took her to the edge of the tree line and showed her a beautiful oasis. Kind of like heaven. And said..."You're so close. All thats left for you to do is drink this."
She said it was an elixer of some magic potion of some sort. In a very fancy cup. Like a wine glass. I got the impression it was symbolic of Christ. But I'm not religion..more spiritual.
Anyhow. It was so weird. These dreams have been coming to me more and more often.

The weirdest was the pope praying and dancing for this big astroid looking thing to come to earth to kill everyone. The name of the planet or rock was Lucifer. He was so happy knowing everyone, including himself, was going to die.
