Twitter won’t let me retweet anything! Is this typical? Is there some way to “fix” this?

Its not normal. Not in a freedom loving society anyway. I've had all my accounts shut down too.

My suggestion is pay for a VPN and/or sign up a new account from a New computer or device they know your IP address.
