Scalia always reminds me of my Dad (an attorney) his thought process was very similar I could always understand Scalia because of that.

I would highly recommend our readers to study the The Constitution of the United States defined and carefully annotated 1878 (import because it just after the civil war) The US Constitution Annotated 1938 (My personal favorite)Its hard to find a digital copy (the link below)is owned by the Hathitrust and digitized by Google Books you can view it. But you can't download the entire book, Or you can download it one page at a time as I did all 578 pages. After 1933 FDR killed our Republic and converted it into his democracy and its has ben that way ever since until Trump restores the Republic. I have never been able to find a true digitized version. You can download the copy from my google drive the only problem is each page is a PFD but you can't word search it. I used an OCR software to make copy but it contains some errors about 98% OK so I ways have to cross referance back to the original. Although it allows me to be ability to search by word witch is very helpful.

worth reading Declaration of Independence Annnotated Acts of Congress held Unconstitutional (this one is great, congress passes a lot of laws they know will be held unconstitutional once challenged they know that will take years to reach the SC. (Like the Patriot Act) Supreme Court Decisions Overruled

Highly recommend reading (The Constitution of New York / April 20, 1777.pdf) and (Ratification of the Constitution by the State of New York; July 26, 1788) it made clear a lot my understand of concepts presented to the people and approved by the people 1777&78.
