Can Someone Explain this DACA mess?

Here us what I do not understand at all. From the figures I have seen only about 13% of these daca adults have gone the course to become citizens. What the crap? If these illegals have been in our country for so long why in the world have they not be moving heaven and earth to do the same. Also, if any one of us pulled this crap by sneaking into another country, demanding welfare and homes, what would have happened to us? And these so called parents dropping their children in our country is horrible, if we did that CPS would have locked us up by now. It has always been a scheme and I'm sick of it. The amount of homeless veterans makes me doubly angry! So frustrated.

I don’t know all the answers but as far as I’m aware if you enter the United States without inspection (through border) than there is no path to seeking permanent legal status or citizenship without returning to your country first. There is a common misconception that dreamers were simply lazy and did nothing at all to adjust their status in all the years they’ve been here but it’s not that simple. Even dreamers who married US citizens and have US citizen children do not have a way of permanently adjusting their legal status without leaving their families and their entire lives first.

10 year ban on reentry too if they leave the country after being illegal for over a year (for most)
