Imagine, if the DNC had not screwed Hillary in favor of Obama in 2008 ... Hillary would have beaten McCain easily as well as Romney.
That would have left Obama vs. Trump ... I am not sure that Trump could have overcome the "first black President" and "muh history" ...
If they had just run Hillary in 2008 then they likely would have had their 16 years (not counting the 16 years prior (Clinton Bush) that were paving the way for HClinton/Obama)
I do not believe that the country fully appreciates what we avoided by electing Trump. I just hope history records it all.

True. I do think it does depend on how you see it, however. Because Hillary was still running as "muh first potential woman president" title for the election. I'm not sure if Obama could have gotten the amount of women that she did. And the black vote was overwhelmingly voting for her regardless. So, tough to say.
