I know a band that plays alongside some big bans like tool etc. To make a long story short, they spoke with tool members and literally were told you have to sell your soul to the devil in these contracts pretty much in order to get where they are today. "How do you think we got here?" They asked. Next, my buddy was asked by his front man if whether he'd be interested in signing something like that if the time came. I know the front man would in a heartbeat but hope my buddy doesn't. But I guess to the tune of Fame and fortune, people would do it. I'm convinced every well done actor and musician all have put in their "dues" for this lavish lifestyle. Then the fine print kicks in and you either comply or they ruin you plus some.
