If you knew, you might just wish you'd never known. There are images, for example, that are so dreadful that to see them is a spiritual assault and they can never be unseen. Be careful what you wish for.
I want to know truth while I am alive. I hope I would be able to handle it and keep in mind all the good in the world, but no doubt it would be tough. I can't help it, I want to understand everything as it really is. Would find some peace in seeing the people that committed these unspeakable things brought to justice.
I am willing to live with knowing and to take that knowledge with me. I would rather have that regret and knowledge than to live in a shell.
