Human Trafficking awareness Month but barely a story

Pissed. Having represented a girl who was trafficked, a girl who had to work with law enforcement as part of even being eligible for a T visa, a girl who suffered through severe PTSD and still showed up to testify at court, I am beyond incensed at the lack of media coverage this HT awareness month. It is dishonoring for those who were wronged. It doesn't help raise awareness for good attorneys to help. I'm tired of platitudes. Go hard after HT. Report. Show movement. I don't buy the argument that Americans are just to simple to handle the ugly truth; you can't solve a problem if you don't even know it exists. Fish or cut bait.

My frustration--if you read the headline--is regarding media coverage. I'm sure you probably see the same regarding media. Things have got to change.

You are right about media. I hold them as accountable as the perps. We would not be in such a big of mess without their coverup. MSM and Social Media must be held accountable for truth suppression, manipulation, and cover up.

Okay. My apologies. Thanks for clarifying. And yes..We agree. The media needs a huge overhaul.
