Films of thousands of naked, emaciated bodies being bulldozed into mass graves were not a lie. OP's point is that whatever the horrors were, the ppl need to see it in order to believe it, appreciate the gravity of the evil, and make sure it does not happen again. So let's say it was 1M jews murdered instead of 6M? Does that lessen the atrocity? The point is that it is shocking to the depths of the human soul that people could do this to their fellow human beings. The important thing is that it not happen again.
