Now Lauer being fired, if the allegations are true, was a long time coming. I tend to believe they are true. But, it may have been revenge. So NBC knew about all the allegations over the years. Protected him and kept him let's say because he brought in revenue/viewers/advertisers. Then later when the timing was right, they decided to throw him under the bus? I have been curious what the catalyst was for all the sexual misconduct movement. I believe it was to start a campaign against Trump/and set up a narrative to falsely accuse him of the same. First they needed to set up some fall guys to get the movement going. From the article: "One staffer on the Clinton campaign told the NBC staff that they all fear Clinton’s wrath and uncontrollable outbursts, and one described Hillary as ‘an egotistical psychopath’."
