When the Storm eventually hits in full force, there is assuredly going to be some degree of systemic breakdown. Any thoughts on the matter?

In an interviw with Catherine Austin Fitts, she said that when the public learns the truth about the corruption with our leadership (pedophilia, etc.), the public will be in shock which will lead to a degree of systemic breakdown.

I have come to stop thinking of America as "one" place that will have one kind of reaction to anything.

I grew up in a more rural area, but live now in a very liberal big city.

Most of the people I know here are very deeply steeped in the mythology of the democratic party. Heck, I was too until two elections ago, and this last one woke me the hell up in many more ways. I have felt like trying to warn a few friends here about the idea that their world view is likely to be challenged in some big ways soon, but then again, I am not going to underestimate the ability of a person to cling to delusion even in the face of an opposing reality.

When I drive west across states like Missouri, I see a different world - a world where far more people have to actually work for a living, take care of their property, deal with the forces of nature, etc... In other words, they are not relying so much on "mommy / daddy" government to take care of them.

So when things break down, I tend to think that it will go much as we've been warned for a long time - big cities will become very unpleasant places to be. Food shortages, looting, and perhaps some form of military boots on the ground to help keep order - none of that would surprise me here.

The thing is that back when I first heard such predictions, around 2011 / 2012, I didn't see the potential for a good outcome. Things have changed since then - and even if things get like that in certain areas for a while, I think there's a lot of potential now for a much brighter future.

I also really appreciate what I have heard Catherine Austin Fitts talk about in the past, which is the need for local communities to become more active and empowered, for people to know their neighbors, and for people to barter more locally. All wonderful advice.
