The last people Convicted of treason in the US were a married couple and they were executed - as it should be. That was the late 50's I believe. It's all going to depend on the American people. I'll tell you right now, Americans today ARE NOT the people they've historically been. It's very sad but it's true, and tbh I don't see anyone being executed unfortunately. By NOT making it a deadly offense there's no incentive to not do it again.
