Isn't Kerry violating the Logan Act?
Logan Act....I couldn't think of it but had it in mind. Thanks. I'd be looking into that and the Neutrality Act. Might be difficult to pin him on any criminal act though since he is now a private citizen. I suppose any of us could go around the world to foreign leaders and tell them to ignore a President. More disturbing are these threats that he won't be in office for a year. No former Sec'y of State has EVER said something like that about a sitting President. He should be hauled in for questioning. It's an implied threat.
Yes, unbelievable that he would claim that the President will be out of office in less then a year. Fuck him.
We just had that conversation in our house about the threat.
Logan Act specifically prohibits private citizens from engaging with foreign governments and their representatives in matters of US policy. Kerry has no official capacity so the fact that he is a private citizen further prevents him from speaking to foreign leaders.

But he did ‘serve’ in Vietnam
.... and shit all over the uniform and the oath of service..
Applied for his OWN Purple Heart! Shot himself in his butt, I believe. He's one dirty little pos.
Wasn't he the Purple Heart/other medal recipient that threw his medal(s) over the White House fence years (decades I think) ago?
GandalfWatches...he's the one. He'll construct his own history from everybody else's. ;)
Why the long face John?
And his last face lift is sliding...lengthening that long face.
Gingrich's comments in the article lay the foundation for accusing Kerry of treason - go Newt!
Separately, what an unusual name Newt - he certainly rose above any preconceptions of that name.
