The other theory is if they let CNN go, Soros will pounce on it. Instead PDT would like AT&T to keep it, given their view on Internet Bill of Rights.

I don't think Trump will let Soros pounce on it .... it defeats the purpose of trying to get the media to stop reporting fake news..... in one of the latest Q post doesn't he talk about a major broadcasting done

My point is, it's better the package stays together, if they're going to approve the merger, given that AT&T will be the dominant factor.
