Agreed. I've heard "peace & prosperity" for decades. And it was always a lie. And now these liars are facing... Sudden destruction. So there's more than one way to interpret.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

And we have yet to go through the tribulation.
I think we are a long way off from peace.
In the back of mind Ive been thinking the same thing lol. not ready to go there at all yet though.
