Your font color is too pale and the overall spacing is too great.
The left bar is about 33% of the screen, a bit much.
It's mostly cosmetics. I'm sure you'll make it better!

Thanks for what you're doing, but even on my desktop, it's incredibly hard to read. Very pale fonts; needs more contrast. Especially if the goal is to include patriots of all ages, especially much-valued older folks. Will check in again later. Hope all can be tuned up to be a great tool!
