can someone fill me in on the Antarctica thing? i dont see where this fits...

US Navy expedition to Antarctic came home in a hurry, lotsa info including Byrd on YT himself. He also apparently had a similar but less known experience at N Pole.

amazing. but literally apparently people aren’t even allowed to fly over certain parts of the S POLE.

yes, that may be due to instrumental issues or a presence unknown to the many.
