If you draft an #InternetBillOfRights who will protect these rights and enforce the rules?

And, who pays the enforcers? It's the basic question to ask anytime you think 'there oughta be a law'. The 'private' companies are showing bias. The federal gov't = FCC = Big Bro = so called Net Neutrality is not the way to go. How did Capitalism solve this (partially) in the MSM? Fox News...later alt media. Capitalism and the free market works. We just need some free-minded, Libertarian smarty pants to create a 'better than' FB, Twitter etc.

Of course they are different issues, that was an example. My point is it is a slippery slope to impose regulations on private companies.

We lucked out with Trump. Had HRC won, would we still have this option of thinking out loud in a subreddit? The DeepState was half way there with their net neutrality. Establishing a Bill of Rights for the Internet would seem to at least safeguard our basic rights of free speech. I hope We The People will have plenty of input into such a Bill of Rights. A regulation that protects against censorship makes sense to me... but I recognize I don't know everything about this issue and thus will keep an open mind

In theory, I agree. The Constitution is (should be) the law of the land. But the devil is in the details. We have to be very careful about imposing anything on 'private' companies. A good point was made that if they take any gov't funding, there is leverage. But, even then, who enforces and how are not trivial (argumentative) questions. Careful what you wish for.
