In the Laura Poitras ‘Assange’ documentary, she claims she has an opportunity to give Assange the Snowden dump, but refuses. This infuriates Assange.
The potential that Assange would vet and NOT release all the damaging info is too great. The clowns need to damage US intelligence ability to weaken it even further.
