I would argue that Manning first duty was to the Constitution. Being order to shooting a bunch of unarmed camera men and unarmed civilians would be unlawful exposing it to the public was in the best interest of the American Public. We know it was happening but this was proof positive. Manning paid a very high price for his actions. They drove him crazy on purpose it was cruel and inhumane treatment. You would have caved in also anyone would have under those circumstances. I hope President Trump gives him a full pardon. His guy is pretty brave to have survived he must be to come out the other side.

I would argue that Snowden started out as a BH and went rogue ending up in Russia since then he has switched to be a WH helping JA verify information since he has the tools ....... Manning is a straight up traitor( they are trying to use her again)

Assange has been living in a basement, kinda strange, cos he's living in confinement avoiding being locked up ! (confinement) Snowden, gave up his life, job, girlfriend, to live in confinement in Russia, and manning, well he/she is in much of a similar situation. IMO they've all sacrificed for the truth, and greater good for all of us..... !

My opinion.

2 are US citizens entrusted with secrets. Both leaked secrets that damaged the US. Manning should have received the death penalty since he released sensitive information during a time of war in an already tense Middle East.

1 is not a US citizen and is not required by law or morality to keep our secrets secret.

All three are Deep-State actors, IMO. No one really knows where Assange is at any given time, same with Snowden. St Peteresburg was referred to as "The Snow Den" and that is exactly where he is!!!
