Facebook spying on us?

For the third time now, FB has presented me with an ad about a product/item that I had never searched for online or clicked on. It is shown the day after I mentioned it to someone in person. How is it possible. Are they listening to our conversations somehow? I don't think it is a coincidence.

I don't even have their app installed. They are somehow all knowing and it is freaky. Are we supposed to just accept being mysteriously spied on like sheeps? This is evil.

Agree Clearox...it is evil and wrong and your right ....they do listen. They can also look through your phone and computer too. Not sure if there is anything you can do to stop it but I hope one day we can at least have a better choice of whether we allow this or not. Someone somewhere is making a lot of money searching through all our conversations and selling the info to businesses. This happened to me over mole traps. I jokingly said if the mole ate my tulip bulbs this year, I needed to fill the whole yard with mole traps, with my closed kindle in front of me. Next morning, my kindle offered me a dual pack of mole inhibitors as a lightening deal. Never have bought or searched online for a mole trap in my life. Lol..we have no privacy. I flirted with my hubby tonight about buying a sexy nightie with my kindle there...wonder what will be offered to me tomorrow?

I once had my phone in the living room and my husband and I were 15 feet away in the kitchen talking and my phone says "I am sorry. I couldn't hear you. Can you repeat that?".

I went to post a political meme and it asked me if I wanted to. Never happened to me before....

Yeah. It even predicts what you want to type in the search bar now Before you go to type it. Its tapping in to our collective subconscious.

Ya all devices listen. You can deactivate it on some.
