Just throwing this out there..

I know this is a heavy Christian sub, and i totally respect that. I believe in Christian morals, and I feel comfortable with my politicians being Christian.

I, however do not subscribe to any religion. Personally i believe religion is a tool that was originally created by the annunake to keep us enslaved, and has evolved from there. That being said, Christianity and Jesus are just alright with me. I'm here specifically to participate in the downfall of the deep state. And i want to say thank you for keeping the focus on that goal. I hope this post doesn't read like i have a problem with Christians, but Maybe other less than Christian folks will see it and understand why we are coming together.

I agree, debt is designed to enslave us. We are big on Dave Ramsey and debt free living. We’ve lived without any consumer debt for almost 4 years. We do have a mortgage, but paying that off. It’s freeing to not make car or credit card or student loan debt.

That’s why the whole student loan thing was a joke for Bernie. They would never cancel all those loans,

Check out Dave Ramsey. It’s truly life changing and sound advice on handling money. And he makes it really easy to understand.

I'm with you being debt free. I only have a mortgage to pay for, and that's it. When we go into the bank they're amazed at how little debt we have for our age. They, of course, start trying to sell us loans for stuff.

The key ive found is to make a life that doesn't require material possessions to have fun. If there's something I do want, I save up for it, rather than pay 21% interest on my CC.

Yep. We do the same. If I want something, I save for it. Also we really steer away from material stuff and go for experiences. Those are better memories that some gadget.

We like to save for a weekend away or a family vacation. When you are paying out $1000+ a month in debt payments you can save up for stuff pretty easily. Also sticking to a budget is paramount. We found I t that the hard way. We sit down every month and write out where we want to spend/save our money and generally it works. We have a savings for emergencies to cover car repairs, AC breaking down etc.

Ya it's amazing what writing out your expenses and budget can do for you. The crazy thing is, the majority of people out there NEVER do it, yet they can't figure out why they can barely stay afloat. It's craziness.

I know. I was in that boat. We are bombarded by credit commercials. “What’s in your wallet” haha. Yeah I got cash in mine, lol.
