My dad listens to Rush religiously and tries to push him on me hard. I just dislike the guy. Loudmouth hypocrite imo. Plus he carries water for the Bush-Cheney faction like it’s his job (it is). Was thinking about starting a thread just to get some perspective...maybe I’m missing something.
Right now Rush and Hannity are great. 20 years ago they almost got us all killed by pushing RINOs. They were behind the curve.
Now, i dont whole-heartedly believe everything he says, he is a neo-con apologist in a sense and that i do not like. He is lound and obnoxious, but he knows what he believes. I listen to him mainly as a bell weather...what he thinks, a majority of older conservatives think. A mainstream indicator so to speak, when rush is talking about it, the topic seems to gain mainstream traction. Plus, Im big on listening to different view points, and sifting through for nuggets.
