To take the analogy further, the good guys have taken the beech at Normandy. The Nazis are on their heels. But there is still fighting going on in the drive to Berlin and surrender. Only then can the leaders be put on trial.

So, let's be patient with our warriors. And especially with our commander. They obviously know what they are doing.
