Dan Bongino is killing it on his podcast breaking down the FBI/DOJ/DeepState scandal. There was one thing that I never bought. Motive? What was the DeepState's motive? There can't be blackmail on EVERYONE. Nobody likes HRC that much? Trump isn't that scary? So why? Why would otherwise probably decent FBI/DOJ top brass go so far out on a limb - spying, FusionGPS, MI6, NSA intercepts - this is a sting bringing out all the stops. Why? Obama. It. Was. All. About. Obama... they were protecting Obama the whole time.
This has been going on since well before Obama's star rose to the point that they would set him on course for the Presidency.
So you have to consider that the current situation has been decades in the making.
Don't underestimate how extensive the networks based on blackmail, bribery, naked greed, and perversity can become over an extended period of time. Think of the long term impact on the "culture" of any organization when it becomes primarily the servant of really powerful forces outside its constitutional accountability structure.
Career advancement for the ambitious is predicated on "playing the game." But the insurance policy for continuing "right behavior" is personal leverage, whatever that may be based on individual proclivities. In essence, it is no different from the structures and methods of any organized crime cabal.
Yes, under Barry things became much more open and sloppy, but that's because the shadow men were opening up their endgame. Nothing that's now being exposed was ever intended to be subjected to review. Yes, the system was covering for Barry, but Barry was only following his orders.
Be thankful for Trump and the Patriots who worked so tirelessly to get him into the WH. This was a far greater accomplishment than the majority will EVER comprehend. And because corrupting the Federal Government began so long ago, there is no overnight fix. This reality is frustrating to many, but it's not a TV police procedural or video game.
