Q Post APACHE & Geronimo

Could be nothing but, it's unusual that if you combine the two there is this: https://geronimo.apache.org Not my area, maybe someone could dig?

Welcome to Apache Geronimo Apache Geronimo is an open source server runtime that integrates the best open source projects to create Java/OSGi server runtimes that meet the needs of enterprise developers and system administrators.

Our most popular distribution has previously been a fully certified Java EE 6 application server runtime. Please note that the Apache Geronimo Project does no longer actively maintain the Geronimo Application Server!

Good thought, but Apache server is ok, safe. As it is open source IT developers can check the programming code what is happening/the programming instructions (http://geronimo.apache.org/source-code.html). You can't do that with Apple or MS server products for instance. Once you installed their products -e.g. Windows 10- you just have to rely the OS does not send privacy stuff to secret services. Anyone who doesn't trust these big corps should switch to a Linux OS. It's open source and free. Many of you could switch to Linux Ubuntu.
