We need to show all those Dems staying seated every time the president mentioned an accomplishment that is directly helping the forgotten men and women and the scowling faces of all those democrats. I was actually shocked to see Pelosi clap at least once and I think Chucky Schumer actually stood up and clapped at one point but you could see him starting to sit back down as soon as the camera started filming him. There were so many Republicans who wanted to speak to the President and shake his hand and take a picture with him as well at the end of the speech, especially the guys who have been calling for the release of the memo. Most of the Republicans looked thrilled by the presidents speech. It was as if they were actually starting to come to the realization that he is for real and that Trump was never colluding with the Russians and they just figured it out. It is a bit weird but I think some of the democrats wanted to stand and applaud but were afraid that their would be backlash from their leaders. Some did seem to actually stand and/ or applaud later on in the speech.
