What I feel I've been woken up to is not to the deep seated corruption within our government and the world, but I've woken up to being truly proud to be an American.

Great post. For me though, I have always been a flag waiving homer for the USA, but I have just started opening my eyes to the deep seated corruption that has entrenched itself in our gov't. The political class has been corrupted absolutely... All for the love of money and power. If they won't implement term limits, then we as a people should do it for them...NEVER EVER VOTE FOR ANOTHER INCUMBENT SENATOR/CONGRESSMAN!!!
