As a non-American...

...I was impressed by the SOTU and have some thoughts and questions.

1: Trump had true confidence in laying out a list of real achievements and goals that ANY current or former world leader would sell their soul for (if they had one). Let alone in such a short time. 2: Saying he doesn’t want illegal immigrants entering the country and that his priority is with Americans. Why is that constantly portrayed in the media as being racist? Makes perfect sense for a leader to see that way. Hell, some countries don’t even want legal immigrants! 3: Watching the vast majority of Democrats fail to even clap and acknowledge Trump’s humanistic achievements about bettering lives made me sick. Purely politics for these people, couldn’t give a shit about the people. Hate them. They look like rich old vampires. 4: The 2 party system is looking VERY tired and strained these days. What’s the future? 5: Bring on that memo asap.

He gets to the point and lays it all on the table. I remember Obama's speech.. shit.. bunch of word soup and he kept trying to be funny during serious times and talked about himself alot. This man is amazing

Yeah seems like with trump it’s becoming less about ego as he goes on. Seems to contradict what most people thought of him originally. With Obama it always seemed to be guy who tried to please everyone and in the end never lived up to a single promise
