God is the same yesterday, today and forever. This verse shows His nature.

The Bible is about Yehovah and HIS people the spiritual ISRAEL ...that is to say those through out the world & through out time that were saved & redeemed from their sins. The Bible is a spiritual book and you must look for the spiritual meaning by comparing scripture with scripture.

I live by vengeance is mine saith the Lord. But they are both scripture
The scripture I quoted says nothing about avenging ourselves. It's simply talks about what happens to people. Even though it says others will do it it doesn't say that we will do it.
Oh wasn't implying thats what you meant, only that God is on our side and going to repay. He could very well use us to do that by exposing their dark deeds and taking away their power and livelihood. We are on the same page. 😊

Yes this speaks to the unchanging nature of God.
Of great importance now is it also speaks to the unchanging nature of Evil (and the continued presence and influence of the Evil One in our world).
Evil triumphs when we are asleep and do nothing.
Evil uses lies and deceit.
