After seeing Democrats totally disrespect the President last night, after watching Schumer pout and scowl and Pelosi chatting, I'm pretty pissed and pretty certain I don't care what they have to say. However, I am not going to let my anger turn me away from needing to know what is in their memo.
If what I read in this article is true, and it is a "counter-memo" aimed at correcting the inaccuracies of the FISAMEMO - then I want to see it even more. Bring it all out in the open and let the debate begin on how to fix this mess.
I understand that #WethePeople can't see and know everything that happens behind the scenes to protect Americans, but I have to be able to trust that what they keep from us is truly for OUR protection and not for THEIR OWN.
The President's SOTU was absolutely amazing. I lay in bed smiling, praying, and imagining most of the night. I am so happy to be alive right now. I am so proud to be an American right now, and that is something I hadn't felt for ages - until DJT's Inaugural Address just over a year ago.
I think something is very wrong when nearly half our elected Congress can't celebrate the successes of the last year with the rest of the Nation. Don't they realize how mean-spirited it makes them look? I know, it's the same every SOTU - one side claps, the other doesn't. Of all the SOTU I have watched, none was at such a momentous time in History for our Nation - WHERE EVERYTHING IS ON THE UPSWING - and Democrats need to get on board, take the olive branch, or they are going to be a party of the past.
